Sidney is another of the very accomplished silversmiths from the Second Mesa village of Shungopavi. The quality of his work attests to the more than 30
years he has been practicing his craft. As you might be able to discern from this photo taken at the Museum of Northern Arizona in July, 2008, Sidney is a character and has a great sense of
humor. His humor can be seen in his jewelry.......on a bet, he made a pair of dangle earrings in the shape of flip-flops. As it turns out, the design has been very popular and can
occasionally be seen on the Earring page of our catalog.
Sidney attended the University of Colorado, is a member of the Strap clan and uses his signature in script as his hallmark.
