Chris Mansfield is a young silversmith who defined his own unique style by combining silver working techniques. He uses a combination of
overlay with appliqué, the result can be seen in these pin/pendants. This technique has been used and passed along to him by his grandfather, Vernon Mansfield and father, Verden Mansfield. Older designs
presented in a modern way.
Please note: Hopi Silver by Margaret Nickleson Wright, in it's latest edition, indicates that Chris was killed in 1996, however he is very much alive and living in the village of Hotevilla. These three pin/pendants carry a satin finish and measure 1 3/16 inches in diameter. We will gladly include a piece of brown or black leather cord, so the piece may be worn "choker style". Chris' hallmark, his initials, CM appear on the reverse.
