This great and gorgeous buckle was designed and expertly crafted by Silversmith, Eddison Wadsworth Soohafyah.
In the artist's own words, "Long Hair Katsinas represent good crop growth and a good harvest. Also prays for rain." It is highly polished, although the hair and beard, as well as Tawa's rays and some of the bricks have been etched to give it texture. It measures 3 by 2 1/2 inches and will accommodate a 1 1/2 inch belt. Eddison's hallmark, the Lakon Rain Mark appears on the reverse side. This is indeed, a work of art!

This unique buckle comes to us from silversmith Gerald Lomaventema. It
features a bugling elk beneath snow covered mountains and trees on the front side, however the back side adds a cast dimension featuring a classic Man in the Maze pattern.
It measures 2 9/16 by 1 7/8 inches, has a polished finish and will fit a 1 1/2 inch belt. Again from a unique perspective, Gerald's hallmark, the Bear Paw, is cast in the reverse side.

Ramon Dalangyawma has created this exquisite piece showing three bison crossing the plains.
It has a mirror finish, is very heavy gauge silver (a signature of Ramon's work), measures 2 3/4 by 1 1/2 inches and will accommodate up to a 1 1/4 inch belt. The design, in the artist's own words, "The Tawa (Sun) Katsina is also a healer. We get strength from him. We believe that when we inhale the first rays of the sun, early in the morning, we are getting strength from him."
